East African Wildlife Society Bronzes by the Franklin Mint
by Don Polland
East African Wildlife Society Bronzes (set of 6) 1976
The East African Wildlife Society commissioned Don Polland to do this set of six sculptures of African wildlife. Don Polland personally traveled to Africa to study the animals in their native habitat. The sculptures are accurate to the most minute detail. The sculptures were individually hand-cast at the Franklin Mint in 1976 using the "Lost Wax" process and then individually finished by hand.
