This was a trial casting that Don Polland did of Buffalo Hunt.
Cold Saddles, Mean Horses - Trial Piece (1968)
This was a trial casting that Don Polland did of Cold Saddles, Mean Horses. It is only 3" tall by 3" wide which is smaller that the Ltd Ed.
Fighting Stallions - Trial Piece (1969)
This was a trial casting that Don Polland did of Fighting Stallions. Both horses have all front legs off the ground in the trial piece.
Knight on Horesback - Ltd Ed 30 (1969)
Don Polland was considering casting a bronze chess set. This was to be the Knight in that chess set.
